Instructions
The sock consists of 6 parts. First, the cuff is cast on with a picot edge. Next, the ankle/leg part. From here, the work is split in two, and you knit the top of the foot (TOV) of the sock in the lace pattern. After the top part of the foot is knitted, you knit the heel. Next is the bottom of the foot (BOF) which is joined to the TOV of the sock while knitting. 'Join as you go,' so to speak... Finally, the toe is knitted in the round.
