The shape of the Blooming winter stripes kite scarf is created by decreases and increases. You start at the point of the bottom and work your way up. The name ‘kite’ refers to the shape of a kite.

 

The patterns is included with a color chart and a schematic of the scarf.

Yarn requirements

For this project you use 3 colors of yarn. If you cannot find a gray gradient yarn, I advise you to use a light color and a dark color gray.

 

Kauni 100% wol 8/2,  100 gr/ 400 mtr   Gauge 10x10cm: 23 pcs x 29 needle

 

Kauni FF dark blue: 100 gr.

Kauni EHA grey effect yarn:100 gr.

Kauni JJ1 light pink: 160 gr.

 

Yarn requirements: 1585 yards, 1450 mtr
